Farmers Market

my darlings,

we’ve started visiting the local farmers market on saturdays. usually pick out one or two things to enjoy. this time we got yams, the time before some hot coffee + a bacon, egg, & cheese galette.

• unexpected cheddar
  it’s cheddar and parmesan’s love-child. aka everything i’ve dreamed of and more in a hunk of cheese

• creamy toscano soaked in syrah
  bonus: the rind is edible

• ricotta + a drizzle of honey (optional: grapes)

• wild blueberry and vanilla chèvre

FAVORITE CRACKERS

• social snackers
  a nice basic cracker for your everyday cheese needs

• brioche toasts
  buttery, light, crunchy. also they remind me of the tiny toasts we’re forbidden to feed to birds, as indicated by this cta sign

• fig & olive crisps
  for when you are feeling frisky, or you have a particularly mild creamy cheese snack, like brie

A Tasty Sandwich

this beauty is called “the Frank.” it consists of a freshly-baked crusty french baguette filled with toasted ham, salami, & capocollo with fresh mozzarella, sliced tomato, sun dried tomato, fresh basil, & balsamic vinegar. you can get it from conte di savoia, the italian sub shop on taylor st.
